SURRENDER

Surrenders are taken on an individual basis.   We evaluate the dog and its needs, also our abilities to help it.

We have expanded beyond Scotties to include all dogs. If you are wanting to surrender a dog and you are an owner, you must show proof of ownership for the dogs via medical records, license, or some other form of verification.

WE DO NOT TAKE STRAYS.   We will be more than happy to provide you with a list of the area shelters, or a shelter in your area.  If the shelter deems that a rescue center is needed for the dog they will contact us.

Dogs in greater needs will take priority.  ATRHC will work with special needs surrenders in all of Oregon and in Washington from southwest (Vancouver) to Seattle.
